  6. What is INTEGRITY? • Integrity is to act according to what is right and wrong. • “I show integrity by doing what is right even when no one’s looking.”

  7. Story of Integrity • Jay was having car problems. Jay searched for an “honest” mechanic and Mike was highly recommended by the people that knew him well. After Mike spent nearly 3 hours trying to fix Jay’s car, he realized there was nothing he could do. The problem was unfixable. Jay reluctantly asked how much the 3 hours of work was going to cost him. • Mike simply said, “I couldn’t fix it. I won’t take your money.” • As Jay stood there he knew that people like Mike were Everyday Heroes. He was a person who showed Integrity. • Mike is an honest guy, making an honest living, and never tires of helping those around him.

  8. How did Mike show Integrity? • Would you take your car to Mike if you needed a mechanic? Why? • How do you think Jay felt when he was charged $0.00? Why?
