  5. Business Case • Ionix Internet was established in 1997 with the very best of intentions. From day one, Ionix Internet was determined to build a company that not only provides superior Internet products and services, but also an unmatched level of customer care. • IonixInternet is a national ISP that provides full-time Internet connections and hosting services such as Cloud web and email hosting for small to medium size businesses.

  6. …Business Case • The IonixInternet mission was to give their customers • fast • easy-to-use • affordable • Reliable • secure Internet solutions. • Website for the Ionix Internet is very abolished and does not include all the latest services available.

  7. Problem Statement • The website is outdated and missing information on new products which leads to lost revenue opportunities. • It is costly to have developers work on the site for changes. • Updating the site is time-consuming for non-developers and takes them away from their regular jobs.

  8. Project Objective • Provide a means to easily update existing content and add new products to the site. • how you move around the site to better showcase products. • This project allow to purchase and provide products online.

Project Scope, Constraints, Assumption • This project is scheduled to be completed by the end of fall semester, 2013 • Project cost is not to overpass $2500. • Team members should devote no more than 3 hours/week to the project. • It is OK to utilize resources outside the team and the company.

  10. Goal Statement • Develop a process that allows Ionix to maintain and update the site easily • Reduce the amount of time it takes to update the website 90% by November 12, 2013.

Project Deliverables • Contract with developers to redesign site and navigation. • Wireframe models of website. • Content Management System (CMS) for easy updates. • Updated site with all products •   A project can have one or many deliverables.
