Every year this amount is increasing at a rapid speed. • The total black money accounts for 40% of GDP of India, if all the money comes back then this could result in huge growth burst for the nation. • 43% of the total population is below the poverty line

Anti Corruption Movement in India In April 2011, civil activist KisanBapatBaburaoHazare popularly known as Anna Hazare started a Satyagraha movement by commencing an indefinite fast in New Delhi to demand the passing of the lokpal bill. • Proposed version of the bill by the government is rejected by the activists and is termed as a “ toothless bill”. • The RTI (Right to Information) ACT
