NANOGASTOR Student Exchange (AT) LA-LA Done • Leslie Reguera Núñez (PhD UH) to UNAM 6 months Finishing date 03/08 Plans? • Only 1 more position available for 6 months: UNAM decided that it should be more appropriate to convert this 6 months for a longer LA/EU exchange for Angel Rivera Ortega. NANOGASTOR Student Exchange (AT) Problems observed during this first Year • AT : Advanced Training : Give the PRIORITY to Master, Ph.D or Young Postdoc for a research training between 6-12 months. • EU rules have to be respected : Official advertisement in the home institution, Applications forms & CV of other candidates • Bursary for the whole stay has to be claimed at least 3 months in advance to UP (Marseille) • Please take care of the student visa (Problems with Inocente Rodriguez (UH)) • Fulfillement of the mobility’s planned initially : An extension of the project should be required (at least 6 months) Nanogastor 1st Year Meeting 18-19th June 2007 UNAM University, Mexico City

NANOGASTOR Student Exchange (AT) Requirements for the home institution and the student involved : I need to be informed at each step • Official advertisement in the home institution • Application forms & CV (when possible from other candidates) • A short description of the research planned (1 page) • Agreement between the student and the host institution for the starting date • when possible, receipts for language courses prior to mobility (EU co-financing) • Sort out the Visa & Passport before I purchase the flight ticket Nanogastor 1st Year Meeting 18-19th June 2007 UNAM University, Mexico City

NANOGASTOR Student Exchange (AT) Requirements for the host institution and the student involved : I need to be informed at each step • Help the student to get the official document (Visa) and see the possibility for the health insurance • Claim the bursary for the whole stay at least 3 months in advance to UP (Marseille) • Sort out the accommodation & the administration for paying the bursary.
