The definition • Judaism is the religion, philosophy and way of life of the Jewish people. •  Judaism is a monotheistic religion, its foundational text is Torah. •  Judaism is considered by religious Jews to be the expression of the covenantal relationship God established with the Children of Israel.

  3. Symbols • A kippah is a slightly rounded brimless skullcap worn by many Jews while praying, eating, reciting blessings, or studying Jewish religious texts, and at all times by some Jewish men.  • Tzitzitare special knotted "fringes" or "tassels" found on the four corners of the tallit, or prayershawl.  • Tefillin, known in English as phylacteries, are two square leather boxes containing biblical verses, attached to the forehead and wound around the left arm by leather straps. • A kittel, a white knee-length overgarment, is worn by prayer leaders and some observant traditional Jews on the High Holidays. • Menorah candlestick 'seven-branched', it existed only one of pure gold and was located in the Temple of Jerusalem, Jewish symbol and is currently the State of Israel.
