  2. 1. The new Nike Outlet is selling shoes. They are selling the shoes on racks. On each rectangular rack there are 3 pairs of basketball shoes, 2 pairs of running shoes, and 5 pairs of hiking shoes. On each circular rack, there are 7 pairs of basketball shoes, 2 pairs of running shoes, and 5 pairs of hiking shoes. There are 12 rectangular racks and 5 circular racks. How many pairs of basketball shoes in all?

  3. 2. The Nike Outlet is buying racks to put shoes and clothes on. They need 12 rectangular racks and 5 circular racks. Each rectangular rack costs $15 ¾ and each circular rack costs $12 ¼. How much money is the Nike Outlet going to have to pay?

  4. 3. If __(x) out of the 17 racks are for shirts and there are 91 shirts and the answer is 13, how many racks are for shirts?

  5. 4. The Nike Outlet has 4 main employees that work for them every day. Employee #1 works 7 hours a day. Employee #2 works 8 hours a day. Employee #3 works 5 hours a day. Employee #4 works 6 hours a day. What is the average number of hours they work each day? Add the remainder as minutes to the average hours.

  6. 5. The Nike Outlet is divided into two parts: the shoe side and the clothing side. There is an orange carpet going through the middle making two triangles and dividing it in half. If Side A on Triangle 2 is 20 feet and Side B is 15 feet then how long is side C? (You can use a square roots table or calculator to fing side C.

  7. 6. There are five racks to divide basketballs, soccer balls, and volleyballs in evenly. There are 15 basketballs, 16 soccer balls, and 13 volleyballs. What is the even amount of basketballs, soccer balls, and volleyballs?
