First, plan your plaque on paper. • It must be at least 4 inches but no bigger than 10 inches in width and length. • If your plaque is an irregular shape you may want to cut out the pattern from your paper. • Squares, ovals, rectangles. Etc. may be done directly on the clay but should be measured. • Be sure to use slip when adding clay to the tile. • Don’t forget to include holes for suspending the plaque from a wire or rope.
