  10. Jump Start Summer Program Purpose • Provide enrichment activities to: • prevent loss of skills taught in the program • support a successful transition to Kindergarten

  11. Jump Start • Approximately 50% of the 2011-2012 Learning Center students are enrolled • Two week program @ WES • July 30th – August 9th • Four hours per day • Thematic Units reinforcing reading and math readiness skills

  12. Learning Center 2012-2013 • IWCS will be serving approximately 90 at risk four year olds in our school division • Five classrooms • 18 students in each class • There is a waiting list • One highly qualified teacher and one teacher assistant for each of the five classes
