Drugs in Ukraine: some statistics • Population of Ukraine - about 45 ml of peopleOfficial statistics on the end of 2012: • 146458 - registered drug user (0,3% of population) • 75128 - diagnosed as “drug addicts” • REAL FIGURES COULD BE 4-5 TIMES BIGGER • 147 112 – total number of imprisoned • 21 176 - prisoners are being behind • the bars for the illicit drugs
