  3. Goals for Tonight! • Student Schedule – Students will receive a new schedule (on yellow paper) the first day of school. In most cases this schedule is the same as the one you pick up this evening. Please feel free to walk your schedule after the presentation and throughout the week 7:30-4:00. • Communication Flow • Student Lockers - Please report any problems to Locker Assistance Table on the Landing. • Lunch Account - Money may be put into the account tonight in the cafeteria. • PE Uniforms and Music Shirts (The Athlete). Please note that students have PE either 1st or 2nd semester. Uniforms are available for purchase throughout the fall semester. • Student Technology info • Drop off and Pick-up information

  8. Dress Guidance • Jackets, coats, hats, hoods, and other headgear are not to be worn in school by students without prior administrative approval. These items, if worn to school, are to be placed in your locker until school is dismissed. • Torn or ripped clothing is not permitted on any piece of clothing. • It is expected that while at school or at school functions or activities, students will not wear, possess, use, distribute, display, or sell any clothing, jewelry, emblems, badges, symbols, signs, graffiti, or other items deemed to be evidence of membership or affiliation with a gang. Bandanas are not allowed. • Clothing must be appropriately sized. Clothes (both tops and pants) cannot be skin tight. No jeggings, skinny leg, spandex, or skin-tight pants. • All shirts must cover cleavage and be at or below the waistline. All pants must remain at or above the waistline. Undergarments should not be visible.

Tecumseh Dress Code • Students not in proper dress will receive an office referral from their 1st period teacher. • A member of the admin team will call students, with dress code referrals, to the office that morning. • Consequences for non-compliance are listed below: • 1st violation=warning • 2nd violation=detention • 3rd violation and beyond=Saturday School or ISS • A letter will be sent home for students that have received a detention, suspension, or Saturday School

  12. Responsibility • Students may use their phone until 7:50, during their lunch period & after 3:15pm. • All other times, please turn them off and put them away (turned off and out of sight). • Phones are never allowed to be used in the locker rooms or restrooms.

  13. Arrival Dismissal

  14. Arrival • Students dropped off in the front can remain in the front lobby or proceed to the Main Gym at 7:30. Front doors open at 7:15 am • Students riding the bus or that are dropped off in the back will enter the athletic doors and sit in Main Gym. Athletic doors open at 7:30 • Students may proceed to the cafeteria at 7:30 for breakfast • Students with instruments are released from the gym, café, or front lobby at 7:48 • All other students are released to class at 7:50

Dismissal • Dismissal bell rings at 3:15 • Parents can pick-up: • Front parking lot • Jeff student parking lot • Hiatt Drive is now permanently closed to through traffic • Buses will be lined up along Bus Lane • Buses are always parked in the same spot, start at the beginning and walk until you find your bus • Let an administrator know if you can’t find your bus • Buses release at 3:22

  21. Student Schedule Changes may be made this week. Students will receive a new schedule on first day of school. It will be printed on yellow paper.

  25. Start of School Day #1 • Once released from the Gym & Café, students will pick up their new schedule. Student Last name-A-B report to room 400. Etc • Students will receive their new schedule and then they will report to their regular 1st period class. The new schedule will be printed on yellow paper. Lists will be posted throughout the building informing students of which room to report to at the beginning of the first day • Please note that the schedule will have locker number & combo information • Normal Schedule the rest of the day
