  4. Priority Needs and Goals 2 Creation of New Affordable Rental Housing

  5. Priority Needs and Goals 3 Housing Rehabilitation for Extremely Low – Low Income Households

  6. Priority Needs and Goals 4 Homelessness Programs, with goals of: • Reducing homelessness, supportive services, financial assistance(i.e., homeless prevention, rapidre-housing to at-risk families whomight become homeless, job training,and shelter services), • Targeting families with children, chronic homelessness individuals, veterans, and victims of domestic violence

  7. Priority Needs and Goals 5 Non-Housing Community Development targeting transitional age youth,and low-income at-risk youth with

  8. Priority Needs and Goals 6 Public Facilities and Improvements targeting the low to moderate income areas

  9. Priority Needs and Goals 7 Housing and Supportive Services for non-homeless special needs populations (i.e. elderly, mental illness, disabled and substance abuse)

Annual action Plan Fiscal Year 2014-15 The Methodology used by staff… …simple yet comprehensive given the limited amount of funds available: Established City Council priorities and goals based on HUD regulations; 1 City Council voiced support of specific priorities during the last public hearing; 2 An organization past participation in the grant process and the impact on the City’s underserved populations; 3 Impact on the City’s general fund. 4
