The Green Fleet Forum OBJECTIVES A platform to initiate and facilitate mutual sharing of best practices, knowledge exchange for postal operators and opportunity to meet representatives of key stakeholders within the area of postal transportation. The Green Post Project • Description: Postal agencies (supported by local universities) in four Member States tested alternative vehicles (electric and hybrid) for their mail delivery services. • Output: test results, impact environmental assessments, economic analysis, management and maintenance training protocols. • Goal: improve energy efficiency and reduce air pollution within a cost effective investment. • Expected results: share best practices and lessons learned to stimulate the replication of similar initiatives.
