Common problems – per IB • Secondary sources and literary theory: • “poorly understood theories sabotage students” • “secondary sources…[are] ill-presented and poorly utilized” • Secondary sources for World Literature Papers are not expected; if you don’t need them, don’t use them. • (For your purposes, the only beneficial use of a secondary source would be to oppose it, or to demonstrate a lack.)

Turning in your Final Draft • Due in English class Thursday, November 18 • 2 clean copies of your final draft • A 3rd copy of your final draft that color codes changes based on the 4 criteria and comments on those changes(see next slide) • A receipt from turnitin.com • The previous draft we handed back to you.

Turning in your Final Draft Minor Project Grade: 1/3 – Turning everything in on time as asked 2/3 – Graded based on level of revisions Color coding – use 4 distinct colors to represent each of the 4 criteria. Highlight where you have made changes based on those criteria. Comments – insert comments next to your changes to prove the importance of these changes.
