  1. Preparation for presentations 7th & 8th English

  2. Step #1-Pick story & author Tips • Preview stories for Unit section • choose story and author of interest to you • Choose partner that you work best with

  3. Step 2-Read story & author Tips • Read story & author information • Take note of any literary concepts used within story • Brainstorm different project you would like to do based on story

  4. Step 3-Choose project Tips • Choose project that will work with your story/poem • Theme project is good for poems • Author projects are good for well-known authors of short stories or poems • Editorial project is good for those stories involving some form of mistreatment or discrimination.

  5. Step 4-Research Requirements • Must find 2 book sources and write bibliography • Must find at least 3 web sites and note bibliography-possible web sites • Information found must be appropriate to presentation

  6. Step 5-Internet presentation preparation. Requirements • Presentation of notes over story in PowerPoint presentation • Internet presentation • 10 questions relating to story/author and internet presentation
