  12. Directions: Using your journal entry about nature, choose an object in nature that you would like to write a concrete poem about. Remember, it does not have to rhyme. Once you have decided on your object in nature, sketch out a rough picture of the object to use as a guideline. The final drafts will be displayed at the St. Tammany Parish Fair, so please make them grammatically correct and as pretty as possible.

  13. Requirements: • Must be grammatically correct. • (10 points) • Must relate to the subject: Cohesion throughout the poem • (10 points) • Must use imagery to describe the object. • (10 points) • Be in the shape of the subject. • (5 points)

  14. Requirements: • Use vivid language (Great way to integrate vocabulary) • (5 points) • Must have a title. • (5 points) • Written in ink. • (2 points) • Colored appropriately. • (3 points)
