  5. A. CONCRETE NOUNThe noun that can be seen n touched They are: • Proper noun: Lisa, John, America, Tokyo, UNAIR, STIKOM. • Common noun: plane, book, students, car, bridegroom and mountain, gold, sand.

  6. B. Abstract NounThe noun that cannot be seen, cannot be touched but can be heard n can be imagined. Abstract noun can be formed with: • Change the verbs into noun • Change the adjectives into noun • Same with verb

Countable NounA noun that has singular n plural form and can be counted The characters of countable noun are: • Can be changed into plural • Can use a, an, many, several and some as articles. • Need singular or plural form verb. They are: a book, an umbrella, many students, several pens, some erasers.

  8. D. Uncountable Noun A noun which does not have a plural form, and cannot be counted. The characters of uncountable noun are: • Cannot be counted • Cannot be given a or an as articles directly • Using much not many • Always needs singular verb They are: much money, a spoon of sugar, two cups of coffee.

  9. E. Collective NounA collective noun is noun that shows a group of things, animals, or persons and should not be mentioned individually.They are:jury, committee, people

  11. G. Possessive Noun A noun to show its owner, can be formed by giving apostrophe “ ‘s” They are: Andy’s book Teacher’s explanation Vaundra’s opinion
