  5. Your task: • Research the immigration influxes to this country from the 19th century through today.

  6. Compare and contrast the reasons why people have emigrated to the U.S.—how has that changed throughout history? vs

  7. Share your results through a podcast or a powerpoint presentation.

  8. Your project must include: • A cover slide /title • A minimum of 8 slides or 3 minutes of information on the podcast with visuals • Questions to address: • Where did the immigrants come from? • How did they get here? (including the conditions of travel, means of transportation) • How has that changed over the years? • Opportunities when they arrived/arrive • Bibliography
