  2. Thistype of forestisfound in regionswith a mild, rainyclimate.Thereis no dryseason. Thesummers are long and wet and thewinters are notveryharsh and havelots of precipitation, sometimes in form of snow.

  3. TREES There are many types of mainly trees like: beech, oak tree, maple groves, elm brak. ELM BRAK- They are deciduous or semi-deciduous trees that extend across the Northern Hemisphere from Siberia to Mexico to Japan. Many species are cultivated and propagated by the southern hemisphere, particularly in Australia and Indonesia. They have alternate, simple, serrated, asymmetrical leaf bases. Hermaphrodite flowers have no petals. Its fruits are samaras.

  4. OAK TREE-Is robust tree that grows in thickets and clean right up to the trunk without branching 15m. When your cup is isolated blocks wide irregular tortuous, gnarled and bent branches that provide little shade. Although its growth is little fast, except in very particular conditions favorable, growing to 200 years and can easily reach 600 years. MAPLE GROVES- Tree up to 30 m tall, with a trunk smooth grayish bark, cracked and scaly appearing at age 40, falling plates similar to those of the plane tree. It grows in rich, moist soil in forests, along rivers, in nitrifying areas, mainly in limestone areas.

  5. BEECH - Deciduous, slender, which grows to 40 m tall and more than 300 years. The cup, the form always depends on the isolation or thicket, is narrow and conical in young specimens. Lives in slopes, valley bottoms in cool moist areas, from 50 to 1900 m altitude. Beech is an emblematic tree of the Cantabrian Mountains.

  6. ANIMALS Sparrowhawk (Gavilán) Spanish Imperial Eagle (Aguila imperial)

  7. Butterflies (Mariposas) Grey dormouse (Ardilla canosa) Wild boar (Jabalíes) Brown bear (Oso pardo)

  8. Mainlywolf (Lobo común) Genet (Gineta) Mainlysquirrel (Ardilla común) Deer (Ciervo)

  9. Features of temperate forests. The temperate deciduous forest biome gets lots of rain annually. In the summer, the masses are cause of polar air in winter, are the result of Arctic air masses moving south. Its soil is rich in nutrients, often due to falling leaves and branches that become natural fertilizerin the soil. The temperate forest biome has five layers. The soil is home to mosses and lichens, the turf allows shorter plants grow in the shrub layer are blueberries and many other forms of plant life, the small tree layer is where young trees are the top layer is the tree layer, where the trees from 60 feet. These include maple and oak trees .The long growing seasons in temperate biomes deciduous forests makes them prime locations for agriculture. The soil tends to be very fertile, and plants and food resources need these nutrients to grow successfully.
