  8. It reveals the optimum use of the fund across various industries and in various projects. • Canara Bank has achieved a high interest income on their working fund compare to Bank of Baroda. • It also states canara bank can able to put their fund in more profitable projects than bank of baroda.

COST OF FUNDS • CoF is lesser for BOB as they pay lesser interest on their deposits (discussed earlier) • For BOB, the CoF increased due to difficulty in garnering funds during downturn • For Canara, it decreased as the borrowings increased manifold compared to the interest.
