  1. Serious ‘XM(aka W2XM)presents Exam-Prep Jepperdee: General-Class Edition, v. 2

  2. The obvious educational value of the ABC-TV show called Jeopardy! is what inspired a science educator to produce this game. The slides which follow allow the host to mimic the action of the TV game show somewhat closely. The presenter should feel free to make his own rules. With the two halves each having one “daily double,” one “final jepperdee,” and the same point values for questions, two-team competition is facilitated. Clicking on a point value (100, 200, 300,…) reveals a question; then clicking anywhere on the question screen reveals the answer; clicking “back” returns you to the game board. “FJ” is “final jepperdee;” “SFJ” is “semi-final jepperdee.” Other important hyperlinks have instructions. Participants can raise their hands to indicate readiness to answer a question. An electric circuit with push-buttons, lockout circuitry, lights, and a sounder makes the game more fun. A diagram is seen here.
