  1. KSM District Heating plant. Throughout the last years, KSM has specialized in supplying turn-key heating solutions. The plants are constructed to meet the customer's wishes. Chicken farm. • The plant consists of a KSM-Multistoker 360XL, output 360 kWs. • The plant operates on coarse woodchips and is fitted with all sorts of equipment in order to minimize the daily maintenance. • The plant replaces an oil burner.   3. Chicken farm. Chicken broiler houses. The buildings to be heated are 2 chicken broiler houses. Each house holds 40,000 chicken. When the young chicken arrive, the houses must be heated to 36oC.   4. Chicken farm. New building. For the installation of the boiler, and for holding the fuel stock, it was decided to construct a new boilerroom with the appertaining fuel stock. Location drawings as well as casting drawings were supplied by KSM. The roof on top of the fuel stock is opened by hydraulics.   5. Chicken farm. Fuelstock. The fuel stock measures 4.5 x 8m and has a depth of 2.5m. Total stock capacity: 90cbm. The fuel is fed into the plant via a strong hydraulic sliding floor.   6. Chicken farm. Boiler. The boiler is a KSM-Multistoker 360XL, with a output at 360KWs. equipped with oxygen control, travelling bottom in the burner, automatic ash evacuation and automatic flueduct cleaner. The flueduct fan is adjusted in a frequency mode. The ashes are conveyed through the wall to an external ashpit.   7. Chicken farm. Fuelfeeding. A strong hydraulic cylinder pulls the fuel into the pit screw. The pit screw has a large diameter, Ø200mm in a 300mm duct, and is operated by a 1.5HP gearmotor.   8. Chicken farm. Boilerroom. From the boilerroom, there is access down to the feeding plant in the basement. The basement also holds the hydraulic station, to reduce the noise in the boilerroom.   10. Monitoring. PC-monitoring via internet Optional supplementary equipment, remote control All KSM controls may be monitored via internet. It is possible to adjust all control parameters. Alarm functions in all units including the individual engines. It is also possible to receive an SMS message in case of alarm.
