  4. I risultati conseguiti nella lotta alla mafia FONDO UNICO DI GIUSTIZIA Somme recuperate al 31 ottobre 2010 2.259 milioni di € Il F.U.G. è una novità introdotta dal Governo nel 2008. Al fondo affluiscono le somme di denaro sequestrate alla mafia e i proventi derivanti dai beni confiscati. Vi rientrano anche le somme depositate presso Poste Italiane SpA, banche e altri operatori finanziari nell’ambito di procedimenti civili. Tali risorse sono immediatamente disponibili per le esigenze di giustizia e di sicurezza.
