San Francisco Community Health Center’s Proposed DEI Project(s) • Form a DEI subcommittee of SFCHC’s “Good to Great” Working Group to Adapt the “Tool for Organizational Self-Assessment Related to Racial Equity” for our agency. • Identify how we will measure true equity and inclusion • Use the tool to assess baseline • Create an improvement plan based on baseline measures • Reassess annually • Include at least one objective in all staff annual work plans related to improving organizational culture. • Provide some DEI-related objectives that staff can choose from

Share staff surveys from recent staff retreat with Executive Committee by mid-July, which focuses heavily on how as an organization we need to work with DEI issues in general. • Fill out the HRC survey to see where we land as an organization, currently. • Review current employee handbook alongside DEI resources to evaluate and provide suggested edits. • Review current hiring practices alongside DEI resources to evaluate and provide suggested edits for process implementation.
