Suggestions • Availability of motivated faculty • Availability of complete set of (licensed) tools • Industrial collaborations • MOUs with industries and Research Labs such as CEERI, SCL, DRDO etc. • Participation of PG students in VSI/ISA events • Publication of articles on the results of PG dissertations in conferences and Journals

Suggestions (contd…) • Referencing International Journals (IEEE/IEE) for good literature survey and identification of problems • Establishing linkages with international experts, Universities and fabrication facilities • Ideas from EDA tool sites through application notes and data sheets • Convergence of various fields and technologies such as Signal Processing and VLSI, Control and VLSI, Embedded and VLSI etc.

Suggestions (contd…) • Preparation of students on prerequisites required for Projects • Establishing students chapters of technical societies such as IEEE/ISTE/VSI/ISA etc • Sufficient time for getting hands on experience on tools • Sufficient time for Report writing (which is not given importance to)
