e-Transport Information Center Supply Chains

  • Since 2003, the ministry of transportation and communication (MOTC) has begun planning and established the “Traffic and Transportation Service Center’’

  • Currently the center is offering two types of service:

    • Traffic information: ex. road congestion & real-time traffic information

    • Public information ex. wheather & schedules for land, sea, and air transport

  • The system has gradually linked real-time data provided by the urban traffic information center and integrated with the highway alternative route information system, thereby making the information more comprehensive

  • Up to 2013, this service has combined 154 applications for connecting the information database and provided value-added services to numerous industries, such as transportation, navigation, logistics, communications, government, and academia, etc.
