  2. I cannot imagine my life without books and reading. Life without books is like “a tree without leaves”.

  3. Reading helps me… • to discover new things • to explore new ideas • to enrich my intellect • to express my thoughts and feelings more exactly • tomould my character, my moral values • to awake my imagination • to be truthful, friendly, honest, firm, fair and serious.

  4. Reading for me is… • the fundamental skill upon which all formal education depends • a wonderful way of spending my spare time • the perfect way to feel comfortable • the source of inspiration

  6. This book makes me think, laugh and cry at the same time. This is a funny story about a young man from Alabama - Forrest Gump. He is an unusual man with kind heart.

  7. Forrest Gump, tells his life's tale from his childhood. How he…. • studies at the “idiot’” school • makes friends with Jenny Curran • plays football at University • meets Bubba who teaches him to play harmonica • performs with Jenny’s group

  8. goes in the army • is sent to Vietnam • meets the President of the United States of America • gets a medal for being brave in the Vietnam war • goes into space with an ape called Sue

  9. gets into the wrestling business • acts in a film about the jungle • plays the big chess tournament • starts his shrimp business • founds Jenny and his son, Little Forrest

  10. Throughout his life, Gump views the world simply and truthfully, even though through the book he really doesn't know what he wants to do in life.

  11. This adventure book makes me experience a great feeling for mercy, forgiveness, justice and hope. This exciting adventure story takes place in France in the 1800s. Some of the people and places in it are real.

  12. Edmond Dantes is a successful young seaman. • There are people who hate his success. • He has a loving father and a beautiful lover, Mercedes. • On the day of Edmond’s wedding, he is taken to the prison.

  13. He meets another prisoner, Faria, who provides Dantes with education in languages, history and many other things. • He tells Edmond about some treasure on the island of Monte Cristo. Faria dies and Dantes takes the place of a dead man in the bag. He escapes.

  14. He is rescued by a smuggling ship. After several months of working with the smugglers, he gets the opportunity to go to the island of Monte Cristo. He founds the treasure.

  15. He has a different name – a rich man’s name, the Count of Monte Cristo,buys a beautiful boat and returns home.
