  2. E- Commerce Conducting business on the Internet and involves selling and buying of goods and services online. Example of websites which provide this services are www.mudah.my , www.ebay.com etc.
  3. Unfortunately, there are disadvantages using E-commerce or online shopping. Example of disadvantages are delayed delivery goods, quality of good does not match the description of the website, or the goods that was order never arrived!
  4. Tips to online shopping Shop Around. There might be another great deal somewhere else Make sure you know the trader’s full details. Those details can be used as backup information if you need to lodge a fraud report Look for website that provide secure payment (encryptions)
  5. Tips to online shopping (cont.) Double check whether the company has a privacy statement that tells you what they will do with your personal information Protect your privacy. Do not simply disclose your personal details
  6. Online Banking Online banking allows you to perform banking activities via the Internet, anywhere, anytime. Examples of bank which offers online banking are Maybank- www.maybank2u.com , CIMB- www.cimbclicks.com.my
  7. While using online banking, you will be facing risk. This risk may cause you to lose a lot of money. Examples of risk are such as identity theft and credit card fraud
  8. Tips to ensure a secure online transaction Keep your password, Personal Identification Number and card Numbers confidential Look for lock icon Use a firewall Install security updates Use strong passwords – consists of big letters, small letters and a number.
