Executive Summary  Aspire Schools: Vincent Shalvey Academy, River Oaks Charter School, and Benjamin Holt College Preparatory Academy had a range of API scores from 890 – 931 in 2012.  Vincent Shalvey Academy was selected a CA Distinguished School for 2012.  100% of Ben Holt’s 47 graduates were admitted to a 4-year college or university. First class of Ben Holt graduates who attended Aspire schools since kindergarten!! Aspire continues to value the partnership with Lodi Unified School District!

  4. Family Satisfaction • Annual Survey Results: I am satisfied with my child’s school.” Over 95% of families answered “Strongly Agree ” or “Agree” to the survey statement. Family satisfaction continues to be high compared to the national average of 70%

  5. Factors for Success: Team alignment with mission Teammate response for agreement with the statement, “ Our school is focused on high academic achievement for our students.”” % agree or strongly agree

Aspire Vincent Shalvey Academy Successes: • Continued to score in the 930’s, at 931! • Received the CA Distinguished Schools Award, May 2012 • One of the top scoring schools in San Joaquin County Focus for 2012-2013: • Build a close partnership with Aspire APEX Academy around reading instruction • Build teacher capacity through strong lead teacher program, mentor/resident program • Share conceptual math program with other schools.

Aspire Ben Holt College Preparatory Academy Successes • API of 890!! • 100% of Class of 2012 accepted to a 4 year college/university • First graduating class with students who had been with Aspire since kindergarten! • Met 10% increase in EAP college readiness. • Started scholar athletes’ programs Focus for 2012-2013 • Increase EAP college readiness rates to 60% ELA; 25% Math college ready • Accelerate learning of specific student sub-groups

  8. Aspire River Oaks Charter School Successes: • Continues to increase high student achievement – API went from 885 – 890! • Regularly has scored in top 3 of 34 Aspire schools in ELA/Math! Focus for 2012-2013 • Increase number of proficient student writers • Increase effectiveness of RtI program for struggling students with academic and behavioral needs. • Increase teacher effectiveness through Aspire tools.
