Recent Changes • Steffi Gillespie asked me in January if I would take over as Website Manager • New website platform! • Steffi did a lot of work comparing various website creation platforms and then I put a few through their paces. • Looking for something that could help us modernize our site. • Needed to be easy to use such that if someone with a tech background needed to they could manage the site. • Weebly was the found to be the best platform for us. Expenditure recently approved.

  5. Usability > Aesthetics but aesthetics still 

  6. RWD (responsive web design)

  7. 2. Eggs meet basket.

  8. Internal/External Chapter Business Consolidated file management Multimedia content Discussion boards Blog etc. Support. Promote. Enable.

  10. Leverage the ‘blog’ in fun ways Most content on site funneled into blog New content automatically syndicated to Twitter and RSS Enables METADATA
