Aims of Project • What are the aims for your pilot family learning programme? • Oral skills • Knowledge of local topography (map of city, subway, main organs) • How to introduce oneself • How to do the shopping • Measuring and counting system, • Knowledge of main institutions and their organization • Basic letters and key words • How do they link to the overall project aims of Grundtvig 2 “Familyhelp and School Success: adult continuous education for parents and children’s achievement”? • Acquirement of the basic skills necessary to the following programme of supporting their children’s school achievement which is to take place next year

  3. Overview of Project • Duration of pilot programmes :10 weeks • Dates of pilot programmes : from march 17 to may 30th 2003 • Total number of hours : 30 hours • Venue for Delivery : our own center • Frequency : twice 1 h 30 per week • Staffing : one teacher for adult

  4. Target Audience • Age : between 25 and 35 • Ethnicity : maghreb, comores, subsaharian africa • Gender : both • Employment Status : indifferent • Literacy needs : migrants with no school background, in need of orality and alphabet • Numeracy needs :
