  13. INNOVATION WITH 2 PHASES A- To create a uplift of medical knowledge, capacity building of such Female Doctors, who after getting married, sit home and do not practice; • Causes a huge national loss. • Currently more and more female getting into Medical universities, • Male students do get more opportunities to go abroad or diversify, • In near future there will be a acute shortage of Doctors in our country. • We are working with Dow University of Health Sciences to implement a IP video publishing based network without using public Internet, • That will enable Home based female doctors to learn, get updated, and participate interactively • Dow Univ to prepare the live lectures through this IP publishing technology, • 8. Female doctors will be able to participate in ongoing tests and viva, while sitting at home, using their Computers, TV sets ( through Set Top Box) and through their mobile phones using mobile internet.

  14. THEREFORE In later phase a Medical helpline and referral service to be launched; Calling patients after getting first level support from these home based doctors, on need basis will be referred to specialist in their own locality; This project will not only enable the increase the number and quality in country’s existing Medical Human Resource; But also provide employment opportunities to thousand of Female doctors currently sitting at home, getting their knowledge wasted; For reference- acc to data by PMDC - only in 2007, approx Rs 3.5 billion has already been lost due to female doctors of that session that will not practice; In last 15 years approx 30,000 female doctors have decided to sit at home, an amount of Rs 2.5 million/doctor was spend on them by Govt, that totals to Rs 75 billion of state money gone to waste. Plus this way the large number of Maternal and Child mortality issue will also be addressed in the locality of these female doctors;
