  3. Ephesians 5:22 - 24 Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord…the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the Head of the Church…wives submit to your husbands in everything.

  4. What does “submit” mean? Cease (stop) opposition or resistance As an act of obedience to the Lord

I Peter 3: 1 - 5 Wives, in the same way be submissive to your husbands so that if any of them do not believe the Word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives. Your beauty should not be from outward adornment…Instead

  9. Your beauty should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to make themselves beautiful.

  10. Hope in God They put their hope in God and were deemed (labeled or named) beautiful in the sight of God.
