Cash for Kids participates in a huge variety of fundraising events throughout the year both on and off air and by encouraging individuals, companies, groups, and schools, join the fun and offer a helping hand to disadvantaged children in their community. All money raised is distributed to support the general welfare of children who reside in the Radio City broadcasting area based on recommendations from a special committee of trustees from all sections of the local community. Radio City’s Cash for Kids distributes grants to children’s charities & community groups aiming to improve the lives of children in Liverpool, North West and North Wales. We are a Charity known for its commitment to making a difference to those it supports. We have given in excess of £1,500,000 away in grants over the last 10 years and helped over 600,000 children.. Aim of Charity – Cash for Kids is a grant giving charity, supporting voluntary and community groups who make a difference to the lives of local children with serious illnesses or disabilities; and children who experience poverty, abuse, neglect or distress.
