  3. Introduction – Main Page First, you must choose a catalog group. You may use the visual navigation menu at the bottom of the page, or the text navigation menu at the left of the page. Bossard Inch Catalog - User Manual

  4. Introduction – Catalog Groups Once you’ve selected a catalog group you will be presented with a new visual navigation menu. This menu shows you the available fastener families/types for the catalog group you chose. Bossard Inch Catalog - User Manual

  5. Introduction - BNs Now that you’ve selected a family/type you will be presented with a list of fastener segments/bns within that family/type. A segment/bn is a unique combination of characteristics (i.e. material, surface, etc). Bossard Inch Catalog - User Manual

  6. Introduction - Articles Lastly, once you have selected the segment/bn of your choice, you will be presented with a list of available part numbers along with their corresponding dimensions, box quantity, etc. Bossard Inch Catalog - User Manual

  7. Fastener Search If you’re not sure where to begin when looking for a fastener, you always have the option of using one of the search features on the catalog website. Just click the ‘Search’ link in the top navigation menu. Bossard Inch Catalog - User Manual

  8. Fastener Search – Quick Search With the ‘Quick Search’ option, you simply select the general description of the fastener you’re looking for and click ‘Search’. A list of segments/bns matching that description will be appear for you to choose from. Bossard Inch Catalog - User Manual

  9. Fastener Search – Advanced Search The ‘Advanced Search’ option allows you to select your desired fastener type and then narrow your search results by specifying individual characteristics. Bossard Inch Catalog - User Manual

  10. Request for Quote To request a quote for a particular item, you simply need to click on the ‘RFQ’ link under the ‘Price?’ column on the page listing the article numbers. Bossard Inch Catalog - User Manual

  11. Request for Quote You may also request a quote for a specific item by clicking on the article number displayed in the ‘Advanced Search’ results. Bossard Inch Catalog - User Manual

  12. Adding an RFQ Line Item Clicking on the appropriate link will open the ‘Online Quote Request’ window. Details of the selected article are shown. You may specify a due date for the quote response, as well as the desired quantity and any line item notes that may be appropriate. You can add multiple items to your RFQ.   13. Managing the RFQ Basket You can manage your RFQ by clicking on the ‘RFQ Basket’ link in the top navigation menu. Bossard Inch Catalog - User Manual

  14. Managing the RFQ Basket The ‘RFQ Basket’ displays all items you have added to your Request for Quote (RFQ). It includes article number, description, quantity and quote due date. You may remove individual items from the list if necessary. When you’re ready to send the RFQ to Bossard, click on the ‘Submit RFQ’ button. Bossard Inch Catalog - User Manual

  15. Submitting the RFQ In order to submit your Request for Quote you must provide us with some very basic information. This information is needed so that we can respond to you with the requested quote information. At a minimum, you must provide your name, company name, phone number and email address.   16. Additional Information You may download an electronic (PDF) copy of our inch catalog assortment by click on the ‘Download’ link in the top navigation menu. Legal information such as the Bossard ‘Terms & Conditions of Sale’ or this website’s ‘Privacy Policy’ may be found at the bottom of every page.
