  2. e-CARE OBJECTIVE LEARNING : • identify the proper ergonomics for computer relate work. • indentify health hazards relate to computer usage. • identify social problems associated with internet and computing addictions. • identify ways to recycle and properly dispose of computer equipment.

  3. Proper ergonomic design is necessary to prevent repetitive strain injuries, which can develop over time and can lead to long-term disability. Ergonomics is applied in our life to fulfill these two goals: PRODUCTIVITY HEALTH

Computer usage that affect physical health. • Repetitive stress injuries: • It can be occur due to prolonged use of the hand, causing a number of symptoms such as pain, burning, swelling, tingling, numbness, loss of dexterity and weakness. • Back pain: • Back pain can happen when you sit on a chair for a long period time. It can course back pain or neck problem. • Eye strain: • Your eyes can become strained when you work in a place with bad lightning condition. • Musculoskeletal disorder: • Cause from work hard environment.

  6. Proper RECYCLE AND DISPOSING OF COMPUTER EQUIPMENt Recycle Donate Use only when needed

  7. USE ONLY WHEN NECESSARY: • Purchase a monitor that does not consume so much power while it is in active. If you need to leave it for a period of time, switch off your computer rather than leaving it on standby. • DONATE: • Donate your computer to somebody who can benefit from it such as to local charity. Remember to physically damage the hard disk so that the new owners will not be able to retrieve it sensitive content. • RECYCLE: • Recycle your old computers as well as printer ink cartilages and toners. • If your old computer is damaged beyond repair or is no longer fit for use, take it to the local recycling centre. If possible, send it directly to the computer recycling section.

  8. LESSON LEARNED • Taking care of your self while working and playing in the digital world is as important as in the real world. Be sure you adopt those best practices for you to enjoy your digital experience better..
