Lesson 1—What is a pronoun?


Definition—Pronoun

  • A pronoun is a word that is used in place of a noun or another pronoun.

  • Maria was lost. She didn’t panic.

    • Who is “she”? Maria

  • She checked the flashlight. It still work.
