  2. MT ST Helen MT St. Helen is a volcano located in Skamania County, Washington. It is a active stratovolcano. Mt St Helen is 8,366 feet tall.

  3. Ask • Our problem was that the ashes got into the fresh water supply that made the water un-fresh. • What we needed was to find out how to keep and how to protect the fresh water supply.

  4. WE THOUGHT OF… 1). MOVING THE FRESH WATER SUPPLY. But what is going to move the water and how. (We then thought) 2). PUTTING A NET OVER THE WATER TO CATCH THE ASHES. But the ashes can burn the net or go through. (Next we thought) 3). WE THOUGHT OF MAKING A UNDERWATER DOME THAT PROTECTS THE WATER FROM GETTING FILTHY. WE CHOSE THIS IDEA.

  5. While we were making the dome there were some problems because we wanted to put real water and it leaked 6 times!!!!!Also a person sat on it !!!!! Then we improved it. We improved it by on all the sides we put a lot of tin foil and tape and it stayed !!!!!! (No leaking) The improvement stage

  6. The 5 Steps • 1st we used a small box and put it over a BIG box 2nd we put a lot of tape all over the inside of the boxes 3rd we put tin foil inside our boxes 4th we covered the tin foil with more and more tape 5th we put tape on the bottom of the box

  7. Improve • We had so many spills of water and a person sat on the project !!!!!!!!!! And that was a big deal . That was a big problem but we fixed it by putting popsicle sticks on the sides to make it stronger.
