  • Called the Association of Paid Circulation Publications (APCP) for years to distinguish it from controlled circulation publications.

  • Renamed the Periodical Publications Association in 1994 to reflect that members represent both paid and requestor publications

  • Goal is to provide information. a forum for networking and to represent the interests of Periodical publishers

  • Four quarterly Postal Roundtables featuring key leaders from the Postal Service and the publishing industry

  • Usually held at Newsweek in New York

  • Formal presentations are followed by lunch during which participants continue to network and talk with speakers
