  18. 2013 OUTCOMES Ready for K NAZ scholars are more likely to be ready for kindergarten (59% vs. 32% for our entire Zone). NAZ scholars improved their reading and math proficiency by 52%. 52% 1/3 Reduction in housing instability among enrolled families facing homelessness or high mobility. Kindergarten readiness is measured by the Beginning Kindergarten Assessment. Reading and math scores are measured by NAZ progress monitoring (a shift in results will occur in 2014 as the test changes and new scholars are enrolled).
