  2. CID 259 Comment: The description of the cyclic prefix insertion is confusing, especially to non-english speaking readers. It is best to illustrate the CP additon Commenter’s Proposed Resolution: For clarity, please include an illustration of how cyclic prefix is added Slide 2 Slide 2

  3. Proposed Resolution to CID 259 Revised. Change the introductory paragraph in 16.2.1.2 as below 16.2.1.2 Long Training field (LTF) The LTF structure in both the frequency and time domain is described in the following subclauses. Move Figure 128 to section 16.2.1.2.2 Above Figure 128 insert the following: “The time-domain LTF structure is shown in Figure 128, and TDFT is the duration of the base symbol.” Change text on line 54 (below equation) in 16.2.1.2.2 as follows: A 1/2 symbol cyclic prefix is prepended to two consecutive copies of the base symbol as shown in Figure 128. For more details, please see section 16.2.3.8. Editorial Change in Figure 130: Correct the section reference for Cyclic Prefix in Figure 130 to 16.2.3.8.   4. 16.2.3.8 Cyclic prefix For the STF, the cyclic prefix (CP) is defined in 16.2.1.1.3 . For the LTF, the CP is defined in 16.2.1.2.2. For the remaining OFDM symbols, a CP shall be prepended to each base symbol. The duration of the CP (24 ms) shall be 1/4 of the base symbol (96 ms). The CP is a replication of the last 24 ms of the base symbol. The CP is illustrated in Figure 136a. In Figure 136a, N is the number of samples in the base symbol, while L is the length of the CP that is added to base symbol.
