  3. Main Functions • To watch DVD or listen MP3 music from shared HDD video server • To watch DVD or listen MP3 music from iPod or PMP • To watch DVD or listen MP3 music from private USB disc • To play Nintendo or SEGA games • To view pictures

  4. Main Features • No loader for each display • All displays share 1 HDD • DVD control functions are available for each display • Over 20 films for choice by each user • Over 300 hours MP3 music available • A/V input for iPod or PMP • Content management automatically • USB 2.0 usable

  7. About Earphone • IR earphone would interfere each other • Normal wired 2 channel earphone is suitable for it

  8. About USB • Client player may play private USB disc’s content, eg. MPEG films, MP3 music • Client player possess a file system, so it could be used for other usage

  9. About A/V Input • A/V Input may be used for PMP, iPod, Cam etc • It’s better to put a little bag besides client player for holding PMP, iPod

  10. About Internet • Client player may access internet as there is a web browser in it • The server could add a GPRS module for wireless communication • For the initial stage we give up this function, but H/W reserves a location

  11. About Remote Controller • Panel is near to customer, remote controller is unnecessary • As remote controller may interfere, so no remote controller for client player • Therefore no IR in client player

  14. About Server Hardware • The design for VOD server is just like designing a CAR PC • P4 industry control mainboard • 120GB HDD & 512MB DRAM • Mounting method & mounting place on coach is being considered

About Content Management • The content is loaded into server by customer itself (not by us) • The content is loaded through DVD loader automatically • The content format is transformed to MPEG4 automatically by server S/W • The content is deleted automatically by S/W according to proper algorithm
