  3. UI volume limits O/D limit for Beneficiary or Buyer • 12% of Drawl Schedule or 150MW whichever is lowest, below 49.7Hz • 3% of Energy in a day below 49.7Hz. Additional UI charges for O/D between 49.5-49.2Hz = 40% of 873ps/u Additional UI charges for O/D below 49.2Hz = 100% of 873ps/u

  4. UI volume limits U/G limit for Generator or Seller • 12% of Generation Schedule below 49.7Hz • 3% of Energy in a day below 49.7Hz. Additional UI charges for U/G between 49.5-49.2Hz = 20% of (873ps/u if Non-APM or 403ps/u for APM) Additional UI charges for U/G below 49.2Hz = 40% of (873ps/u if Non APM or 403ps/u for APM)

  5. Gaming aspects • Gaming clauses 6(3) and 6(4) on O/G beyond 101% and 105% limits removed. • Modified Gaming Clause introduced in Final Regulation “(6)The Commission may, either suo motu or on a petition made by RLDC, initiate proceedings against any generating company or seller on charges of gaming and if required, may order an inquiry in such manner as decided by the Commission. When the charge of gaming is established in the above inquiry, the Commission may, without prejudice to any other action under the Act or regulations thereunder, disallow any Unscheduled Interchange charges received by such generating company or the seller during the period of such gaming.”

  6. Payment Security Mechanism In case of Delay of UI charges • LC to be opened for 110% of the average weekly UI Payable charges • LC to be increased to 110% if Current year’s weekly UI liability exceeds 50% of LC

  7. UI cap rates Generators under APM fuel: • For O/G upto 105% in a block and 101% in a day =403ps/u • For O/G beyond 105% in a block or 101% in a day = 155ps/u Beneficiary or Buyer : • For U/D upto 10% or 250MW = No cap • For U/D beyond 10% or 250MW shall not exceed 403ps/u

  8. UI cap rates For Sellers • For O/G up to 120% of SG = No cap • For O/G beyond 120% of SG but upto 100% of Installed capacity =403ps/u • For O/G beyond 105% of IC in a block or 101% of IC in a day = 155ps/u
