Once upon a time there was a tragedy happening on Earth. It was a dark and dreary night in 1887 in a small city named the C6 Metropolitan Area. An evil scientist named Fuel Fletcher (a.k.a Dave), was once thinking about the carbon cycle when he realized that all living things needed Carbon, and f course he hated people. He developed an evil plan to diminish the supply of carbon on Earth.
Dave was traveling along in the town and discovered how plants and animals play a part in the Carbon cycle. During his walk he ran into Karbon Kid! Karbon Kid asked him what he was up to and no reply followed, only a swift grin. Karbon Kid sprang into action, threatening him with every last punch. However, Dave did not back down, but he had laid low for quite a while so that his plans wouldn’t backfire on him. Karbon Kid was not the type of person to give up, but he did. He gave Dave a chance to use his horrific plan.
This was an epic failure for Karbon Kid . The Fuel Fletcher’s plan was kicked into gear and no one could stop him, except…Karbon Kid! Karbon Kid confronted Dave once again, this time he was mad as ever. Dave exterminated all decomposers and, with a large tarp, covered the city, thus blocking all sunlight and preventing the process of photosynthesis.
Later that day, Dave discovered a diagram for Carbon Sucker 3000, the newest way to clean out a fresh supply of carbon. He decided that it would be a great accessory to his evil plan. The robots were powered by combustion and were designed to suck up all Carbon and burn up all fossil fuels. He called his sidekick, Frederick to help him build and set up for termination. They both shared a love for evil. The spent all night preparing the robots.
The next morning it was time for termination, according to Dave, but not Karbon Kid! Karbon Kid and his sidekick Carbonella were ready to take action. Both the hero and the sidekick reviewed their plans of how to diminish all of Dave’s evil plans. They split up to prepare for the worst.
Karbon Kid and Carbonella arrived at Dave’s office ready for battle. The Carbon Suckers' 3000 were busy sucking up every last bit of Carbon and respiration of new bloomed leaves. They were to occupied to notice Carbonella’s first attempt of switching the off lever, locate on the back of the robot’s structure. Dave’s keen eye had caught Carbonella’s move, trapped her and only Karbon Kid was left to battle against Dave and the robots.
Karbon Kid rewound his arm, and in a swift gesture sprang it forward into a punch directly to the robot’s chest. Buttons made different varieties of beeping noises. Dave was still focused on monitoring Carbonella. Karbon Kid did a 180 degree turn in the air and switched off all three of the Carbon Sucker 3000’s levers.
Karbon Kid had then pressed a few more buttons, eventually releasing all Carbon back into the Earth. Flowers bloomed, lightening struck and the Earth’s original form was restored. However, Karbon Kid could not let this tragedy take place again. Well at least not in his life time!
Karbon Kid gathered multiple chain links and several locks. He wrapped Dave in the chains and locked them together. He used the last master lock to chain him to the same cage he had once captured Karbon Kid inside of.
Once again, a story of success. Karbon Kid has saved the day!
GLOSSARY Fossil Fuels- a non-renewable energy resource that forms in the Earth’s crust over millions of years from the buried remains of once-living organisms. Respiration- Sugar molecules are broken down to release energy, Carbon Dioxide and water are released as byproducts. Combustion- The process of burning fossil fuels. Photosynthesis- the process by which carbon cycles from the environment into living things. Decomposition- The breakdown of dead materials into carbon dioxide and water.
