  3. Here are some more big “Brosh trees” from Akko

  4. מכנף נאה Tipuana tipu Linoy, Yarin and the “Michnaf Nae” tree which grows in the class playground.

  5. Here is a bigger” Michnaf Nae” tree. The name : “Michnaf Nae” means that its branches are like nice wings

  6. Marom, Adina and Lotem near the ” Klil Hachoresh” tree in the class playground which is shedding of its leaves now. כליל החורש cercis

  7. Lirun, Muchamad and Saar near a big “ Klil Hachoresh” tree in the class yard which is not shedding of its leaves now. As winter is not so cold this year, the trees got confused: Some of them are shedding of their leaves and some do not.

  8. Here is a big “Klil Hachoresh” treewith its flowers : Spring time in Akko The Name ” Klil Hachoresh” means that it is the most beautiful tree in the grove. Look how colorful this tree is in the spring!

  9. Moriah, Ronen, Avigail, Sapir,Anastasia,Shachar and Margalit, their teacher ,near the Tamar tree which grows in the class playground תמר palm Here are the fruits of the Tamar tree (dates)

  10. Here are bigger Tamar trees and the Dates Our ancestors ate The Tamar fruits in the dessert and it is part of the seven kinds of crops in the land of Israel

  11. Itai,Galia, Ravid, Anastasia, Lior, Shaked Dana and Ruv Near the Dekel trees which grow in the yard of our neighbors . This tree is a different palm tree דקל-Palm

  12. The Ficus tree which grows on the pathway to our class פיקוסFicus

  13. Here is another big Ficus tree in Akko

  14. The” Izdarechet” tree which grows in our neighbors yard is shedding of its leaves now. Look at its unique trunk and fruits! איזדרכת-Margosa tree

  15. עץ הזית Olive tree The Olive tree which grows in our neighbors yard is green the whole year

  16. Here is a bigger and older “Olive tree” Look at its hollow trunk! Olive tree is considered a holly tree and its olive oil was used in Jerusalem Temple. The legend says that when the Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed ,all the trees in Israel were very sad and were shedding of their leaves. When they looked at the olive tree they saw that it kept all of its leaves. The trees asked the olive tree: ”You , the king of the trees, do not think that it is not nice to be happy now while all the other trees are mourning and shedding of their leaves?” The olive tree answered: “You are shedding of your leaves so that every one will know that you are sad but my sadness is bigger and it is in my heart . My heart got dried and I have a hole inside my trunk as my sadness is internal ”

  17. The “Shkedia tree”We do not have it in our class playground but it is the tree of “Too Bishvat” The Blossom of the Almond tree starts at “Too Bishvat”
