Falafel Recipe By Perla Shitrit, “Hadas” class teacher. • Take two glasses of chickpeas and soak them overnight in water • 4-8 garlic pieces • 1-2 onions • Handful of fresh Parsley • Handful of fresh Coriander • Two wet bread slices • One spoon of cumin • One spoon of salt • One spoon of black pepper • One tea spoon of hot pepper (it is an option) • Tea spoon of Baking Soda

  3. How to do it: • Put the chickpeas in a strainer so there will be no water left. • Grind all the ingredients except the baking soda in a food processor. • Let it rest for half of an hour. • Add the baking Soda and stir. • Wet your hands and make small balls out of the dough. • Fry the balls in a pan with a lot of hot oil • Add salad , Tehina and chips and put it all in a fresh Pita
