  2. Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar and Shivaram Rajguru are among the most prominent figures in the Indian independence movement. These three revolutionaries were instrumental in the struggle against British colonial rule and fought for the freedom of their nation until their last breath. Bhagat Singh was born on September 28, 1907, in Banga, Punjab, British India. He was a prominent member of the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association (HSRA), a revolutionary organization that aimed to overthrow British colonial rule in India. He is best known for his revolutionary activities, including his involvement in the bombing of the Central Legislative Assembly in Delhi in 1929 and the assassination of British police officer John Saunders. Singh was arrested and put on trial for his actions, and he was ultimately sentenced to death. He was executed by hanging on March 23, 1931, at the age of 23. Sukhdev Thapar was born on May 15, 1907, in Ludhiana, Punjab, British India. He was a close associate of Bhagat Singh and also a member of the HSRA. He played a key role in the bombing of the Central Legislative Assembly and was also involved in the planning and execution of the Saunders assassination. Thapar was arrested along with Bhagat Singh and was also sentenced to death. He was executed by hanging on March 23, 1931, at the age of 23. Shivaram Rajguru was born on August 24, 1908, in Khed, Maharashtra, British India. He was also a member of the HSRA and played a key role in the Saunders assassination. Rajguru was arrested along with Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev and was also sentenced to death. He was executed by hanging on March 23, 1931, at the age of 22. The executions of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar, and Shivaram Rajguru were a turning point in the Indian independence movement. Their sacrifices inspired a new wave of revolutionaries and played a key role in the eventual liberation of India from British colonial rule in 1947.
