  2. What should be checked? • When driving long distance? • During a regular vehicle inspection? • How often should oil changes be done?

  3. Tire and tire pressures • Setting tire pressure to proper inflation. • Pressures are located on drivers door or owners manual • Proper tire pressures means better fuel economy • No cracks or cuts on side wall. • Checking tire thread depth, minimum for safety is 1mm

  4. Wipers and washer fluid • Checking wiper blades for proper cleaning • Making sure the wiper rubbers are not torn • Making sure washer fluid is topped up and operation

  5. Fluids • Power steering fluid • Should be topped off, middle- max line • Should be clean, clear , amber or red color • No leaks with the power steering pump or power steering lines

  6. Fluid • Automatic Transmission fluid must be checked with vehicle running for proper level. • Cold fluid min- max line on dipstick • Hot fluid min- max line on dipstick • Red color • Manual transmission fluids must be checked through the fill pull.

  7. Fluids • Brake fluid is a hygroscopic liquid, that absorbs moisture. • Clear color fluid • Should be at the max line • If fluid is close to the min line check for leaks or brake material might be low.

  8. Fluid • Engine oil, must be checked with car off • Level at max line • Clear amber color • Recommend changing oil every 6000km or 6 Months. 8000km or every month • Look at owners manual • Check for oil leaks

  9. Lights • Check for proper daytime running light • Check for low bean and high bean • Check for turn signal lights • Check for reverse light • Check for brake lights • Check for taillights
