  3. How To Find FAIR SOLUTIONS • Part 1: • Find out what you both need. • Whenever there is a problem, it is often because people want (or need) different things. • Example:I am trying to read and book and you are playing your CD loudly. • MY NEED? - YOUR NEED?

  4. How To Find FAIR SOLUTIONS • By looking at both our needs we can understand the whole problem. • I want it quiet so I can read, and you want to play music loudly.

  5. How To Find FAIR SOLUTIONS • Part 2: BRAINSTORM solutions. Brainstorming is a creative way to solve the problem. You think of as many ideas as possible. Silly ideas are okay, too.

  6. How To Find FAIR SOLUTIONS • Step 4: • CHOOSE THE IDEA YOU BOTH LIKE BEST!
