Adenosine One Day Rest/Stress 99mTc-productCardiolite or Myoview Rest Stress ASNC – American Society of Nuclear Cardiology recommends Adenosine infusion for 6 minutes and radiopharmaceutical injection at 3 minutes, but others have used a 4 minute infusion with radiopharmaceutical injection at 2 minutes, which seems to have less side effects.

  5. Chemical One Day Stress/Rest 201Thallium For a thallium stress test, the stress portion must always be done first and imaging whether treadmill or chemical must be started ASAP due to redistribution of the thallium. With treadmill for any radiopharmaceutical the heart rate should be allowed to return to baseline in order to avoid what is called the cardiac creep.
