Treadmill One Day Stress/Rest 201Thallium For a thallium stress test, the stress portion must always be done first and imaging whether treadmill or chemical must be started ASAP due to redistribution of the thallium. With treadmill for any radiopharmaceutical the heart rate should be allowed to return to baseline in order to avoid what is called the cardiac creep.
